Diane Prieskorn has work with the Duncan Laboratory since May 2013 to establish new approaches for drug delivery and stem cell therapy. In ototoxicity studies, the lab established stereotactic approaches in mice for intracerebroventricular drug delivery. In stem cell studies, Diane is developing a new surgical approach to access the internal auditory meatus in guinea pig to facilitate replacement of the auditory nerve with stem cell-seeded nanofibrous scaffolds.
