As part of its commitment to provide individual and collective DEI education, discussion, and action opportunities within the U-M Neuroscience community, MNI is hosting a 2-hour workshop on the basics of pronouns. The course teaches the basics of pronouns, their usage, and the connection between pronouns and transgender communities.
While it isn’t required, the Spectrum Center highly recommends participants complete the Introduction to LGBTQIA2S+ Communities and Identities web course, which covers a variety of foundational topics about LGBTQIA2S+ people, many of which Pronouns 101 does not include given its specific scope.
