The Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Research Center hosts a professional conference for junior faculty and postdoctoral students. The target audience is neurology, psychiatry, aging and geriatrics, and nursing. Instruction is conducted at the intermediate level. Conference Objectives

To demonstrate the relationship between clinical presentation and underlying disease pathology, to discuss alternative hypotheses and etiologies that may explain the clinical presentation, and utilize the distinct data elements presented during this session to inform future diagnostic procedures related to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
