Dr. Santa J. Ono
Santa J. Ono, an accomplished biomedical researcher and the president and vice chancellor of the University of British Columbia, has been named the 15th president of the University of Michigan.
Dr. Ono also lives with bipolar disorder and is a survivor of suicide. Ono speaks about his own mental health journey and his advocacy for bettering mental health among students on college campuses and his in his 2017 TED Talk. The Prechter Program welcomes Dr. Santa Ono to the University of Michigan!
