U-M Urology's Dr. Arul Chinnaiyan interviewed about new prostate cancer study

The University of Michigan Health System's Health Lab Blog interviewed Dr. Chinnaiyan on a study that found inherited genetic mutations were much more common in men with metastatic prostate cancer than in men with early stage prostate cancer.

Dr. Chinnaiyan served as the lead author of the study, which was published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The findings prompted the CEO and President of the Prostatce Cancer Foundation to record a video message explaining what these new findings mean for families, and what men can do to empower their family to stay healthy.
