Prostate cancer patient documents journey through treatment with photographs

The patient, who was being treated by the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center and Department of Urology, was photographed after each of his treatments as a fun distraction from the arduous process.

“Right from the beginning, I thought this whole thing is going to be a challenge,” the patient Rodeny Marolf says. “I wanted to distract myself from the cancer struggle and apply it to the challenge of getting photos. It was fun and exciting to see the attitude of the staff and the caring support. It distracted me as the patient and they got to do something a little different, too.”
