Biography
Dr. Yooni Blair is deeply committed to improving the lives of her patients through innovative urological care. She completed her Urology residency at the University of Michigan, where she developed a passion for genitourinary reconstruction. To further her expertise, she pursued a fellowship in Genitourinary Reconstruction, Prosthetics, and Trauma at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in treating conditions such as narrowed urethras, erectile dysfunction, and urinary incontinence.
With numerous publications and presentations at national conferences, Dr. Blair stays at the forefront of her field, always striving to enhance her patients' quality of life. Many of her patients have experienced marked improvements in their symptoms, such as increased urinary flow and regaining erectile function, following her tailored treatment plans, which underscores her commitment to delivering effective, individualized care.
Active in professional organizations, including the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Blair also serves on the American Urologic Association Video Education Committee and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America Surgical Committee, emphasizing her dedication to advancing the field. In addition, her passion for global medicine has taken her to Peru, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Honduras, and Rwanda. She has worked to address health disparities by participating in the training of local physicians to improve access to underserved populations.
In her role as Associate Residency Program Director, she focuses on educating future urologists and promoting leadership development. Dr. Blair looks forward to partnering with her patients on their journey to health and well-being.
