Gina is a deaf mother whose young daughter came up with flu-like symptoms. After being airlifted to Michigan Medicine, scan results indicated her daughter had a large brain tumor, which eventually turned into cancer. Her daughter passed away 13 months later. Gina recalls the easy access to interpreters at Michigan Medicine as well as the exceptional, heartfelt care her and her daughter received, even after her passing.
