Biography
Dr. Annie Wu received her combined BA/MD degree in biology from the Program in Liberal Medical Education at Brown University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She went on to complete ophthalmology residency training at the University of Michigan followed by a glaucoma fellowship as a Heed Fellow at Massachusetts Eye and Ear at Harvard University. Her research interests include quality of clinical practice guidelines, care delivery, and modulators of glaucoma risk.

Research Interests
Dr. Wu's work utilizes healthcare databases to investigate disparities in healthcare delivery and barriers to access of care on a national level. She has collaborated with the Aravind Eye Hospital in Pondicherry, India on efforts to reduce pharmaceutical waste in cataract surgery. Dr. Wu serves on the EyeSustain editorial board and aims to continue collaborations at home and abroad to reduce waste reduction and improve operational efficiency.
