Ophthalmology Resident International Rotation/Education Program

Emily Schehlein, MD, with students in India

Kellogg offers residents the opportunity to gain international experience through on-site rotations with global partners. After gaining approval from the University of Michigan Graduate Medical Education office, residents are eligible to spend approximately 4 weeks abroad during their 2nd year of residency. Residents work with mentors at Kellogg and at our partner institutions around the world on research projects while observing the delivery of eye care in another setting.
