Simpa Salami, MD

Assistant Professor, Urology


Simpa was born and raised in Nigeria. He graduated from College of Medicine, University of Ibadan in 2006 and then moved to the United States in 2008 for the MPH program at Harvard School of Public Health. He subsequently pursued his surgical internship training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and Urology residency training at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ Health Systems in New York. He is currently undergoing fellowship training in urologic oncology here at the University of Michigan.

Areas of Interest

Early detection and treatment outcomes of prostate cancer, prostate imaging, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, adrenal neoplasms.
