Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Job Description

The University of Michigan Department of Emergency Medicine is actively recruiting highly motivated pediatric emergency medicine faculty for our division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Candidates who have completed their PEM training through pediatrics or emergency medicine residency pathways will be given equal consideration. Specifically, we are looking for qualified candidates who will be willing to work clinically and have experience and/or expertise in the following areas of strategic interest:

  • Research faculty in all aspects of EMSC (emergency medical services for children) – specifically, we are especially interested PEM faculty with advanced research training (MPH, PhD) and those who either have extramural grant funding or are interested in a career in research in PEM.
  • Informatics and large data analytics including machine learning and AI
  • Prehospital care and EMS

Qualifications

Fellowship training and/or board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
