Areas of Interest
As a member of the Jutkiewicz lab, Lauren is interested in the neurobiological mechanisms behind substance abuse. Her thesis work investigates the neurochemical profile of behavioral responses to drug-paired cues, with an emphasis on determining the role of the endogenous opioid system.
