Jean Carlos Rodriguez Diaz successfully defends dissertation
Jean Carlos Rodriguez Diaz, Neuroscience Ph.D. student (Jones Lab), successfully defended his dissertation "Role of the N-Methyl-D-Aspartate Receptor in Synchronous Neuronal Network Activity" on June 5, 2023. Congratulations, Jean!

Dr. Julie Finnell, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Ferrario Lab, has recently accepted a position in Pharmacology and Toxicology housed in the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University of Buffalo.
During her time in the Pharmacology department, Julie’s research has been broadly focused on understanding how reward centers of the brain drive feeding and how these centers and associated behaviors are changed after exposure to high fat or high sugar diets. She has had a variety of projects including assessing effects of intra-nucleus accumbens
