Clinical Simulation Center

The University of Michigan Clinical Simulation Center (CSC), a unit of the Department of Learning Health Sciences, is an innovative instructional environment and learning laboratory providing challenging, immersive simulation training for physicians, nurses and other health care professionals at the University of Michigan.  

To better serve our Michigan Medicine community the CSC now has two locations: 
              CSC Towsley  The original 6,000 square foot facility at G2400 Towsley Center
              CSC Med Sci II  A new 7,500 square foot space at 2727 Medical Science Building II

CSC-Towsley Awarded Grant from Storz

An Educational Equipment Grant was awarded to CSC-Towsley to support the upgrade of four Laparoscopic/Endoscopic Towers. This will include two HD Towers to support flexible (nasolaryngoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy) and rigid procedures (bronch, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy), two telepack towers, C-Mac laryngoscopy and associated equipment.

CSC Seeking Simulation-based Education Best Practice Proposals

The Clinical Simulation Center (CSC) Research Committee is seeking proposals for up to three Research Grants. The proposals, due July 31, 2018, must apply best practices in simulation-based education for UME, GME, and other healthcare professionals
