Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Effective February 1, 2021 the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines will be updated.

Michigan Medicine AHA Training Center will be using the HeartCode BLENDED learning format.  This blended learning format includes an online self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program and in person Hands-on Testing Session.

The HeartCode blended learning format is a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner's performance and skills. This new format of HeartCode is designed for either a New Provider and Re-Certification because of the personalized learning path.

What does this mean for you as a learner?

  1. Everyone will need to register for a Hands-On testing session.
  2. Once MM AHA has processed your registration, you will receive an email from CSC-Registration with your confirmation and directions on how to complete HeartCode.
