Instructional Plans

Welcome to the on-line Instructional Plan (IP) platform!

The Clinical Simulation Center team is here to support you in the successful implementation of your simulation-based educational event.  We have updated the IP process to achieve this mission.  The IP process now includes 4 different phases:

Phase 1:  Basic information- including number of sessions/learners and learning objectives

Phase 2: Learning Plan Development - details on the learning activity(ies), plans for assessment

Phase 3: Equipment needs

Phase 4: Approval and scheduling

You will be able to move through Phases 1 and 2 independently.  You may also opt to meet with one of the CSC directors for assistance in developing your curriculum and completing your IP application.  After completion of Phase 2, one of the CSC directors will approve you to move to Phase 3.  In Phase 3 you will have the opportunity to meet with one of the simulation techs to learn more about the simulators and equipment best suited to your curriculum.  Once approved through Phase 3 you will be moved to Phase 4 and on to scheduling your event! The 4-phase process should take less than 2 weeks to complete.  You can save your progress at any point and come back to complete.
