The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an important role in helping so many women become mothers, regain function after the pregnancy and childbirth journey, find the freedom and independence to lead active full lives, and – for many women – survive and even thrive after cancer diagnosis.
Michigan Medicine has produced a short tribute video to the experience of becoming a mother for this Mother’s Day weekend. The video features powerful images from our birth center, and voices from several birth center team members sharing their reflections on the experience of supporting the childbirth experience.
