Alumni came from all different specialties, having graduated from U-M Medical School in a variety of decades past, to tour and try out the simulation tools in the Clinical Simulation Center (CSC) at Medical Science Building II. Executive Director of the Clinical Simulation Center, James Cooke, MD, was on hand to welcome the group of about 25 alums and guide them through simulation demonstrations as well as thank them for generosity of alums who have contributed to the purchase of equipment.
This year's alumni visit coincided with the CSC's 15th Anniversary which will be recognized throughout the coming year. Alums were also treated to a first look at the CSC's new 3DI Lab next door. Michigan Medicine faculty can bring projects to the lab's director, Deborah Rooney, the biomedical engineering student staff to develop new simulation tools or improve existing ones.
