Biography

I am a Respiratory Therapist at Ascension Providence Park Hospital in Novi. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at Wayne State University. I completed a one-year program called WINGS, Women's Institute for National and Global Success program for Women in healthcare. I worked closely with healthcare mentors towards professional, personal, and career development. I take care of patients in critical care conditions in medical ICU, Neurological ICU and ER. I work closely with patients with chronic pulmonary illnesses such as COPD and Asthma. I am currently in the process of being certified as an Asthma Educator. I find joy in making a positive impact on my patients lives by educating them and their families about their pulmonary illness, as well as teaching them how to manage symptoms and exacerbations. I did research papers as a student on Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and Lung cancer.

She is a first-generation college graduate whose family immigrated from Lebanon for better opportunities in the US. She loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys traveling and learning new languages; she speaks four different languages and is still learning her fifth language. Soccer is her favorite sport.
