Academic Year 2021-2022 Graduate Tuition

School of Medicine: Rackham

  • Full time (9+ credits) tuition full term: $12,195 (Michigan Resident), $24,611(Non-Michigan Resident)

  • Part-time first hour: $1,699 (Michigan Resident), $3,079 (Non-Michigan Resident)

  • Part-time additional hours: $1,312 (Michigan Resident), $2,692 (Non-Michigan Resident)

  • Candidacy, per full term: $6,627 (Same for Michigan and Non-Michigan Residents)

Additional Expenses

In addition to tuition and fees charged by the University of Michigan, applicants should consider the following additional expenses that may be incurred:

  • Study materials

  • Home Internet Service

  • Computer equipment and software (recommended to support proper functioning of platform used for courses)

    • PC Users: Windows 10

    • Mac Users: OSX 10.12 High Sierra

    • Webcam: 1080p (preferred) or 720p

    • RAM 4GB

    • Microphone (some webcams have this built in)

    • Headphones

    • Compatible browser: Google Chrome (preferred), Mozilla, Firefox or Safari

    • Adobe Flash

  • Travel expenses –  students will be required to attend in-person orientation sessions at the beginning of the fall semester, beginning of the winter semester and beginning of the spring/summer semester; each session will last 2-3 days
