Biography
Marisa Conte is a PhD student in the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems (HILS) program. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Medieval Studies from the University of Michigan, and a Masters of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. In her role as a Research Area Specialist Lead, she works with the Knowledge Grid, a research Initiative that investigates the creation, management, and dissemination of computable biomedical knowledge. Marisa has received two National Library of Medicine supplemental funding awards to investigate the roles of information in international and multidisciplinary collaborations, leading to the implementation of strategies for efficient and equitable data sharing.
