Moyer wins Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) award

The award recognizes Moyer for improving health access for women in Sub-Saharan Africa

Nominated by her peers, CUGH's Dr. Tom Hall-Dr. Nelson Sewankambo Mid-Career Leadership Award is "given to outstanding individuals in the middle of their career who have exhibited extraordinary leadership in global health."  The consortium committee credits Moyer for helping to "change the paradigm for how academic institutions in the United States effectively partner with colleagues in low resource settings and have enabled numerous young researchers to be empowered through mentorship and training programs."

The award will be presented to Moyer in March at a virtual version of CUGH's annual conference.  Read more about Moyer, her partnership with Ghanaian scholars and the award in the Global REACH article that follows.
