Biography
Peter Boisvert is a software developer working on distributed grids of computable medical knowledge. He has held a variety of positions at the University of Michigan as a developer, team lead, or project manager with the UM Hospitals and Health System, the Michigan Institute for Clinical Health Research, The Medical School’s Health Information Technology Services, the Molecular & Behavioral Neuroscience Institute (formerly Mental Health Research Institute), as well as with Wayne State University’s Department of Psychology, and Henry Ford Hospital’s Department of Otolaryngology. He has also been a consultant and software developer for large companies and startups in retail, secondary publishing, and internet services.
In addition to his programming activities, Peter spent a number of years as a bookseller with Borders Books in Ann Arbor. Peter holds a BA in Linguistics from the University of Michigan and an MFA in Writing from Pacific University.
