In this Cover Michigan survey more than two thirds of respondents indicated they would be willing to participate in COVID-19 contract tracing.
DLHS faculty member, Jodyn Platt, contributed to the Cover Michigan report which details responses by race, region and other descriptors. One observation from the report was that "about half of respondents (46 percent) worry that their private health information could be used against them." Also Black respondents were less likely to trust health care providers to act responsibly with their information. Overall a majority of respondents did express trust in health care providers.
