Spine Fellowship (Interventional)

This is a one-year PASSOR recognized, non-ACGME accredited fellowship. The purpose of this program is to supplement standard PM&R musculoskeletal training with spine focused exposure to advanced biomechanical evaluation, comprehensive multidisciplinary management, and advanced interventional treatment. Fellows work under the supervision of the Spine Program faculty in the comprehensive management of acute and chronic spine disorders. The Spine Program offers a stimulating academic environment that results in frequent interaction with other physiatrists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, pain psychologists, case managers, etc. The fellow will benefit from the full resources of the University of Michigan including a comprehensive didactic program and busy clinical services in a multidisciplinary setting. Fellows are required to participate in resident education and spine research.

Fellowship Resources and Benefits

Applicants must be a PGY-4 PM&R resident in good standing or PM&R board certified/eligible.
