Dr. Claire Kalpakjian, PhD to receive ACRM 2021 SCI-ISIG Margaret Nosek Award

 

Dr. Claire Kalpakjian, PhD will be receiving the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) 2021 Spinal Cord Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group (SCI-ISG) Margaret Nosek Award. The ACRM SCI-ISIG Margaret Nosek Award recognizes an individual who demonstrates drive and commitment to advancing scientific knowledge, developing standards of clinical practice, raising awareness, and advocating for appropriate health care and community support for women with disabilities.

The award will be presented during the ACRM Annual Conference, which is widely recognized as the premier interdisciplinary conference for rehabilitation research. The 98th ACRM Annual conference will be held from 26 – 29 September 2021 and will meet virtually. The award presentation will occur during the Spinal Cord Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group Business Meeting.
