Biography

Dr. Chandran obtained his Bachelors of Science at the University of Michigan. He attended medical school at Wayne State University. He completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins University in 2011, where he served as Chief Resident. He subsequently joined the Faculty at Johns Hopkins Hospital prior to beginning his fellowship training. In 2014, he completed a Musculoskeletal Medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He continued his training at Case Western Reserve University, where he completed a Pain Medicine fellowship in 2015. Dr. Chandran specializes in the management of Spine and Musculoskeletal conditions utilizing a multidisciplinary approach incorporating minimally invasive interventions and evidence based treatments.

Dr. Chandran is a diplomat of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the subspecialty field of Pain Medicine. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department at the University of Michigan.
