Dr. Mark Peterson named CHRT Policy Fellow

Congratulations to Dr. Mark Peterson, who was accepted into the Center for Health and Research Transformation (CHRT) Policy Fellowship at the University of Michigan.

The class of six also includes Dr. Elham Mahmoudi, who spend some time in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as a research trainee.  The fellowship is focused on health policy and practice in Michigan and nationally.  Dr. Peterson hopes to use the training to advocate for those issues that have driven his research these past several years, including risk of chronic disease in people with disabilities, especially pediatric disabilities, and other populations where frailty is a factor.  We wish him much success and look forward to hearing more about what he learned in this innovative training program.  Read more about the fellowship on the CHRT website or in the University Record article below:
