Dr. Pilarski Publishes Article on the Power of Words in Disability

Congratulations to Dr. Carrie Pilarski, Rehabilitation Psychology faculty in PM&R on this publication, in Rehabilitation Psychology which will teach us all about how to talk about disability, and the power of words—and perhaps lead to conclusions different than some of us are used to.

From Dr. Hurvitz:

While I often send articles published by our faculty out to a some of the faculty and staff in PM&R, I am sending out this article more broadly, and while my goal in sending out articles is generally to just let people know what we are publishing, I strongly encourage everyone to take the time to read this article, as I think you will find it enlightening and important for the work that we do. I definitely learned quite a bit.
