Biography
Dr. Shah’s clinical practice focuses on head/neck cancer, breast cancer, and lung cancer. However, she is board-certified and experienced in treating all disease sites. She has clinical research experience in several disease sites as well, including head and neck cancer, glioblastoma, esophageal cancer, cutaneous lymphoma, and lung cancer. Patient care is her passion, and she enjoys working with patients on a daily basis. She is a strong believer in patient education and making sure patients understand their disease and treatment options. Based on her experience developing clinical trials at Stanford, she is developing an academic program focused on the conduct of clinical trials as well as patient and physician decision-making regarding clinical trials. Her goal is to develop tools to improve clinical trial enrollment through medical team communication as well as patient and physician education.
