The Collegiate Professorship in the Basic Radiological Sciences

M

This collegiate professorship was established in 2002 to support innovative research in the basic radiological sciences, a relatively new research focus within the field of radiology. The professorship supports innovative research programs and provides interim funding for established investigators in the basic radiological sciences.

Many people came together to make the endowment a reality. Significant funds were raised from private gifts from existing department faculty and alumni of basic radiological sciences. Corporate gifts further built the fund, and the Department of Radiology itself contributed the remainder.
