The Interventional Radiology Residency is a 6-year integrated program that begins in the PGY-1 year with a surgical internship prior to radiology training. Three positions are available each year and are filled through the National Resident Matching Program. Applications for residency positions are processed through the Electronic Residency Application Service. Applications are processed and interviews are offered on a rolling basis.

To assure a complete and timely review of your application, we strongly recommend that all materials are posted on the ERAS system prior to the opening date of ERAS, or as close to this date as possible.

All interviews will be conducted virtually for the upcoming application and interview cycle. IR Residency interviews will be performed the same day before or after the Diagnostic radiology interviews, allowing accommodation for applicants based in other time zones. We will also offer an optional, non-evaluative, in-person “second look” visit following the submission and certification of our program rank order list, prior to the applicant rank list deadline. Details regarding this visit will be provided at a later date.

On February 5, 2025 our program’s Rank Order List was finalized and certified. We recognize in-person visits can be beneficial to an applicant as they consider the institutions and cities in which they choose to continue their education and live. To preserve the program-applicant relationship, we pledge to not alter our Rank Order List for the duration of this recruitment cycle, in every circumstance, without exception.
