Biography

Dr. Reed is a well-known investigator and author on vulvovaginal disorders, particularly vulvodynia and recurrent vaginitis. Her primary research focus over the past several years has been on vulvodynia, including NIH-funded studies on epidemiology, sensory testing and immunological aspects of vulvodynia.

While Dr. Reed may have transitioned to Emeritus Faculty in early 2017, she maintains active participation in the research community, as an investigator and mentor.
