Biography

Marie Claire grew up in Cork, Ireland and graduated from medical school at University College Cork in 2006. She subsequently completed residency in Internal Medicine becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. She then pursued training in Family Medicine becoming a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2013 and working as a general practitioner in Dublin prior to moving to Ann Arbor with her family. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Women's health from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, United Kingdom as well as postgraduate diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland. She graduated with a Masters in Public Health in 2017 before joining the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School in January 2018.
