The Department of Surgery research centers have partnered and been working to advance our DEI mission in the research space. This series is open to anyone interested in diversity in surgical research. With the recent push from national funding agencies to be as inclusive as possible with human samples and/or subjects in our applications, this presentation will look at barriers and solutions plus pipeline initiatives to increase diversity.
