Biography
Dr. Bauer attended Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. During his time in medical school, Dr. Bauer was selected to the Medical Research Scholars Program at the National Institutes of Health, where he completed a year-long research fellowship in the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute investigating ischemia/reperfusion injury. Dr. Bauer's clinical interests include cardiac surgery and mechanical circulation, and he plans to pursue basic science research during his surgical residency.
