Biography
Dr. Waynick is a hospital dentistry general practice resident at Michigan Medicine. She was born and raised in a small town (Star) in North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017 with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. She then also obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from UNC Adams School of Dentistry in 2023. During her time at UNC, she served on the executive board of the North Carolina chapter of the American Student Dental Association. She was also heavily involved in the Pre-Dental Community and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Delta Sigma Delta Honors Fraternity, and UNC’s Bridging the Gap program. In her free time, Tori enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring with her Labradoodle, Franklin.

I felt that the U-M GPR would allow me to build confidence in my skills and knowledge, broaden my prospective, interact with other healthcare providers, and learn to properly manage dental emergencies."
