Research Investigator, Surgery

Biography

Dr. Wang completed her Ph.D. from East China Normal University, Shanghai, China. She joined the University of Michigan in February of 2016. She received postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan on tumor immunology and immunotherapy.

Dr. Wang’s research interest is focused on the function of epigenetic regulation machineries in tumor microenvironment and immunotherapy. By working in the Weiping Zou Lab, she engaged in exploring the role of epigenetic driver mutations in chromatin remodeling SWI/SNF complex shape cancer immune phenotype, T cell trafficking and immunotherapy efficacy. Dr. Wang’s current work also involve epigenetic regulation and metabolic switch on T cells function and immunotherapy response in tumor context.
