Amy Humrichouser graduated summa cum laude from Wittenberg University in 2005 with a B.A. in philosophy. Following 9 years of working in sales management and marketing, she earned an M.D. from University of Michigan Medical School in 2018. She ranked University of Michigan's psychiatry residency program #1 because she wanted to attend a rigorous program that would challenge her and did not want to leave the people at Michigan Medicine and the beautiful community of Ann Arbor. She is a current Alexandra Symonds Fellow with the Association of Women Psychiatrists, the RFM Rep to the APA Assembly for the Midwest (Area 4) region, and one of the program's unofficial social chairs. She enjoys indoor cycling, kayaking the Huron River, and hiking nature trails with her Welsh Terrier.
