The University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry Ambulatory Psychiatry Services provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients and families whose lives have been touched by an array of mental health conditions, treating individuals in every life stage, including children and adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
Telepsychiatry: Video Visits
During this pandemic our department has worked hard to provide virtual care through video visits for as many individual and group visits as possible supporting our patient’s mental health needs. Keeping people distanced physically by using video visits is one step both our patients and providers can take to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Virtual visits are conducted through the patient portal. If you need to set-up a portal account, click here(link is external) or contact the portal team. The portal team can also help with technical questions and issues with conducting a virtual visit. The portal team contact phone number is: 734-615-0872, Option 1, Mon-Fri 7am-7pm, or Sat 8am-1pm. For questions about the portal please visit this page(link is external).
