Emily Gach, LMSW

Social Worker

Biography

Emily is a fully licensed clinical social worker, who graduated from the U of M School of Social Work in 2017 with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice and Mental Health and a Certificate in School Social Work.

She completed her graduate training at the University Center for the Child and Family in Ann Arbor, where she discovered a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of presenting mental health concerns through individual and group therapy. Emily continued on to complete her Post-Graduate Social Work Fellowship at the University Center for the Child and Family, providing outpatient psychotherapy for children and families, supervising social work interns through live observation, conducting intake screening appointments, managing the psychotherapy waitlist, and assisting with case assignments.

Most recently, Emily has been working with families at Arbor Psychology Group in Ann Arbor. She specializes in areas concerning anxiety, attachment, early childhood, parenting challenges, trauma, and family communication. Emily is excited to be joining the Team and is looking forward to continuing to grow professionally while supporting families in the community. She will be splitting her time between our screening clinic and providing psychotherapy.
