About the Film
- We Can Be Heroes follows Detroit’s own Taylor “Machine Gun” Duerr as he fights his way to a national boxing title inside the ring, while fighting the demons of his past heroin addiction out of the ring. Watch the trailer.
Art Show
- The art show is an opportunity for local artists who have struggled with substance use disorders, and their families and community members, to create art that reflects their experience and their hope.
