Reducing the Risk: Firearms and Mental Health

This Michigan Medicine livestream will focus on special considerations for people who have a mental health diagnosis or a family member with a diagnosis -- whether or not they are firearm owners themselves. 

Presented in collaboration with the U-M Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention, the discussion will include tips about firearm safe storage and how to leverage the “red flag laws” now available in Michigan and other states. 

This livestream is brought to you in collaboration with the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan.
