Biography
Michele Brown, LMSW is a master’s graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work. She has been a Supervisor within Michigan Medicine Psychiatry since 2001, originally as part of M-CARE health insurance’s behavioral health management team. Michele developed and manages the Care Management team for Ambulatory Psychiatry, serves as co-chair of the Patient and Family Advisory Committee, and provides supervision and education for social work interns. She assists senior leadership with administrative and operational issues for the Ambulatory clinic, including pilot projects for improving access to care. As part of her clinical care, Michele provides evaluation and treatment of adult patients, often using clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and DBT skills.
