The Pediatric Nephrology Division of the University of Michigan employs clinical, translational, and health services  research methods to improve the health and treatment options for children with kidney disease. This is a highly collaborative program with assembled experts from across scientific disciplines and institutions to focus on the needs of children and adults with kidney disease. The Pediatric Nephrology research program includes career development opportunities for faculty, fellows, residents and students and includes innumerable options to explore research careers, methods and mentored projects. The program includes clinical trials, longitudinal cohorts, health services, and translational research with funding from a variety of sources including NIH, foundations, philanthropy, and industry.
