About Me:
I grew up in Lancaster, PA before attending Connecticut College where I studied Biology and Hispanic Studies. As a lifelong competitive swimmer, I was thrilled to continue racing on the women's swim team at Conn. Returning to central Pennsylvania for medical school at Penn State College of Medicine, I quickly fell in love with pediatrics. Outside of school, I have always spent a lot of time pursuing personal and community art projects including starting an art program for adolescents with eating disorders. In my additional free time, I love spending time outdoors exercising, camping, backpacking, and visiting as many National Parks as I can.
Why Michigan?
First, I chose U of M because I felt so welcomed by the residents and faculty I met on my interview day. Furthermore, I knew U of M would equip me to effectively serve diverse patients. Ann Arbor itself was also a huge draw since it has plenty of nature and other places to explore.
