The clinical and translational research programs outlined below are at the disposal of all cardiology fellows at Michigan Medicine. Research opportunities are uniformly strong across disciplines, and fellows are encouraged to create new collaborations across the schools and institutes at the University of Michigan. Over the course of training, fellows have been known to publish in high impact journals such as the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, the Journal of the American Medical Association, and the New England Journal of Medicine.
