Our Allergy and Clinical Immunology faculty members provide comprehensive diagnostic, management, and treatment services to patients with allergies, asthma, immune deficiencies, and other immunologic disorders.
Our division is composed of over 40 faculty, fellows, and staff. We have four clinic locations: Allergy Specialty Clinic and Food Allergy Clinic at Domino’s Farms, Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology at Reichert Health Building, Allergy at Briarwood Health Associates, and Allergy Clinic at Northville Health Center. Our Allergy Specialty Clinic and Food Allergy Clinic at Domino’s Farms is equipped with special food allergy challenge rooms, a sanitized kitchen that has negative pressure flow and sealed doors to prevent the spread of airborne allergies, and a state-of-the-art extract lab. Also located at Domino’s Farms is our Comprehensive Asthma Management Program. It is a multidisciplinary clinic, consisting of Allergy and Pulmonary asthma specialists and a certified asthma educator, that provides care to patients with difficult-to-control asthma.
Our faculty have research interests in various and diverse areas including common allergic conditions, asthma, urticaria, autoimmunity and biotechnology, aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease, carmine allergy, atopic dermatitis, chronic sinusitis, and asthma outcomes. Several of our faculty members conduct cutting-edge research at the University of Michigan Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center, focusing on understanding food allergies and developing treatment options. We were also selected as a FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) Clinical Network Center of Excellence.
We are committed to providing outstanding educational activities and diligent in our pursuit to equip our faculty and fellows with the most up-to-date information.
