Comprehensive Pancreas Program

Welcome to the Michigan Medicine Comprehensive Pancreas Program. We are recognized by the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) as a Center of Excellence – the only such center in Michigan. Our faculty have served in national leadership positions for the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).

Patient Care

We have over 1000 annual clinic visits and a multidisciplinary clinical team of over 45 medical experts. Learn more.

Research

Our robust research infrastructure and collaborative environment supports our investigators conducting both basic and clinical research - ultimately accelerating the pace of discovery. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other agencies support basic and clinical research studies in acute pancreatitis, pancreatic cystic disorders, and other conditions involving the pancreas. Learn more.

Education

We educate medical students, residents, and anticipate offering a one-year Pancreatology Fellowship Training Program in the near future. In addition, we offer continuing medical education (CME) opportunities to community physicians as well as support groups for our patients. Learn more.
